Chloride traces in the wax fraction of raw oil distillation using Metrohm Combustion IC
Resumo
Paraffin and lubricating oils are yielded from the wax fraction of raw oil distillation. The chloride content of both should be low. This Application Note describes chloride determination after inline combustion. Although it does not happen in this application, this method can also be used to quantify the sulfur content.
