MagIC Net（マジックネット）

MagIC Net is a control and database software for ion chromatography instruments. It controls the latest line of IC instruments (the 940 Professional IC Vario instruments and the 930 Compact IC Flex instruments including the microbore versions and the IC Conductivity Detector MB, different other detectors, such as 947 Professional UV/VIS Detector Vario, and the Eco IC) and sample changers (919 IC Autosampler plus, the 858 Professional Sample Processor series, and the 889 IC Sample Center series, including the 889 IC Sample Center Basic versions).

The new version comes in a modernized look and feel which supports, for example, 4K monitors. Furthermore, performance improvements for client-server systems were implemented. For all improvements please refer to the Release Notes.

MagIC Net is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and enables automation of the whole analysis including sample preparation steps.

MagIC Net 4.2 is delivered in English, German, Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Never execute an upgrade from MagIC Net 2.x/3.x to MagIC Net 4.2 without a valid licence code! Without a valid licence code you get only a demo version which expires after 30 days. A downgrade is not possible!

To get a valid MagIC Net licence code, please contact your local Metrohm distributor.

The same applies for an upgrade from MagIC Net 1.x to MagIC Net 2.x. Never execute an upgrade from MagIC Net 1.x to MagIC Net 2.x/3.x without a valid license code.

Please be aware that a new version of MagIC Net might require also an update of the instrument firmware (internal instrument software) to be able to operate the system afterwards successfully. For further information please contact your local Metrohm distributor.

If you install the Chinese or traditional Chinese language update please make sure that the respective character support is activated in the language settings of your personal computer.

In order to install a language update, extract and execute the EXE file from the downloaded and compressed ZIP file. Installation will then be carried out automatically.
